Dear State Leaders,
If you attended the LEAGUE Forum you are aware of the new membership initiative that was rolled out there. Our new initiative is as follows:
We are offering a free year of LEAGUE membership to all PMRs and OICs. We want to give each state the opportunity to recruit these members; therefore letters from the national office will not go out at this time.
You may sign these new members on an 1187, which can be found at
www.postmasters.org. Be sure and write “Free Year” at the top of the form.
Each new PMR member will receive a CD from the national office after their 1187 is received which will contain training and valuable information which is pertinent to their position as PMR.
As for the new OIC members, this will have to be a total state effort, as we have no way of knowing who the OICs are. You now have a tremendous opportunity to increase your membership rolls, as a great many of these OICS and PMRs are our future Postmasters.
This is a great offer and we hope that you will all take advantage of it.
We can do great things for the LEAGUE together!
